Twin Cities Nonprofit Gives Used Instruments to Students

This year alone, the Twin Cities nonprofit Vega Productions has brought over 450 instruments into music programs at public schools in St. Paul and surrounding areas, reports the Pioneer Press. As the St. Paul district continues to educate larger numbers of low-income students, Vega Productions’ efforts have become extra valuable to maintaining accessibility in these music programs.

To meet the increasing demand for their services, the nonprofit recently launched a website called “Instruments in the Cloud” to streamline the donation process. Through the platform, donors can see which schools need particular instruments and make their donation to a particular school based on this information.
