Salesforce Org to Invest $18 Million in Bay Area Communities

Salesforce announced earlier this month that its nonprofit organization, Salesforce Org, will be donating more than $18 million to Bay Area community efforts revolving around education, homelessness and environmental causes.

A large portion of the donation, more than $15 million, will go toward the Oakland Unified School District and the rest will be divided among organizations dedicated to helping homeless individuals and the San Francisco Park Alliance.

The organization has long invested in the Bay Area, donating millions per year to schools and other nonprofits, in addition to offering thousands of hours of volunteer service from Salesforce staff.
