The World of Wonders Science Museum in Sacramento announced plans for a major $19M expansion, and already the museum has acquired an additional five buildings on its block to begin the expansion project.
The project will add approximately 42,000 square feet for a science and culture center, inviting an additional 160,000 students annually.
The project is said to be supported by several grants and donations, which will help with new exhibit space with teaching labs and workshops.
Sacramento’s WOW museum currently invites 58,000 visitors annually.
