The American biotech company, Gilead Sciences, came to an agreement with the administration to donate an HIV transmission prevention drug, Truvada, for 200,000 Americans every year.

The agreement is expected to last through 2025, providing thousands of individuals with the drug, which usually costs upwards of $1,600 a month. The administration apparently agreed to cover the costs for getting those medications to people in need.
