Philanthropist and art owner Agnes Gund has donated $22 million in grants to help end incarcerations within the Philadelphia area.

Gund’s Art for Justice Fund, which is managed by the Ford Foundation, aims to improve the criminal justice system by promoting art for previously incarcerated individuals.

The donations given by Gund’s fund will help Mural Arts Philadelphia, an organization that commissions paintings of individuals impacted by the justice system.
